Our Vision

The Parkland Special School community strives to provide specialised, inclusive education to learners with special educational needs in order to become confident, participating members of society.

Curriculum grades and ages

SPORT

The learners participate in sport codes for learners with Intellectual Impairments. The following codes; SOCCER, NETBALL, CRICKET, INDOOR ROWING, BOCCE, HOCKER, BLACK BALL POOL, ATHLETICS, CROSS COUNTRY AND SPECIAL OLYMPICS were approved and implemented by Eastern Cape Sport for Intellectually Impaired (ECSA II) which affiliates under South African Sport Association for Intellectually Impaired (SASA II). Learners participate annually from District Level up to the National Level.
